      Producer Information

Viña San Pedro is a large wine company based in Santiago, Chile, producing a range of brands and labels from vineyards covering almost the full length of the South American country, from Elqui Valley in the north to Malleco, Bío-Bio and Valdivia in the south. The winery was originally established by the Correa brothers in 1865, in the Curicó Valley, at a site now occupied by the company’s historic Molinara winery. While not the company’s main production facility, the Molinara winery is still in operation. The majority of production is now handled by the Cachapoal Andes Winery in the Cachapoal region, some 110km (70 miles) south of the Chilean capital, Santiago. The winery produces the flagship Altair as well as the Cabo de Hornos, Sideral, Kankana del Elqui and Tierras Moradas brands (among other labels) and hosts visitors and tourists. Viña San Pedro produces a large range of wines covering varieties and regions from across Chile. It exports a significant volume of its production into over 80 countries worldwide.
