      Producer Information

Domaine de la Mordorée is a French wine producer based in the in the southern Rhône Valley appellation of Tavel. The domaine is best known for its dry rosé and red blends from Rhône varieties such as Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. The first wines from the estate were produced in 1986 by brothers Christophe and Fabrice Delorme, who named the domaine after a local nickname for the woodcock. Soon after, in 1989, a three-hectare (seven acre) plot in Châteauneuf-du-Pape was acquired and remains is the source of the estate’s premier wine: Cuvée de la Reine des Bois. This wine is only produced in exceptional vintages.
