Oliver & Oliver is a rum distiller based in the Dominican Republic that produces a range of top-shelf spirits across a variety of brands, including Vizcaya and Opthimus. Founded in Havana, Cuba in 1868 by Juanillo Oliver, the company – like many others – fled Cuba following the revolution, eventually settling in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, from where Oliver & Oliver began trading in rum in 1997. The company also blends rum from Panama and Trinidad, as well as its Dominican output. Brands in the range are Cubaney, Quorhum, Opthimus, Guantanamera, Cubanacan and Vizcaya. The company has gained a reputation for producing premium, small-batch rums in limited runs.
