Nose: Salted caramel, toffee apple, some pollen, fudgy wudgy, browning pear, sweet lemon and honey and himalayan musk.

Palate: Very buttery with honeyed flapjacks, pale ale, ginger and pears following on from the nose to black pepper, red apples and fresh oak.

Finish: Sweet lemon returns with some pears and slight acidity.

The distillery set-up is all about creating and then capturing esters – the fermentation is long, the lyne arms of the stills are angled upwards, the copper conversation a long one, the reflux plentiful.
